First things first before we get started here I would like one and all to know that the pictures on this blog are all pictures I stole off of Angie's blog to scrounge up this little number, (so all credit goes to her and her camera that is almost always more accessible then mine and takes way better pictures!)

And presently I feel like there's so much, and yet nothing really that's "Going On"

I've sat and contemplated the last few weeks about whether or not my life is really exciting right now, and the general consensus in my mind is no!

Don't get me wrong, I am content, and I'll tell you why. . . . . . first of all

I live with the cutest baby in the whole world!

I think I'm starting to rub off on her!

Seriously I've become "That Person" that shows you pictures of their kids only it's even worse because she's not even mine! I'm always like. . . .have you seen my roommates baby? (Shove my phone in your face) isn't she the cutest thing in the world? I realize it's probably annoying, but I can't help it, I need people to understand that we are not dealing with a normal baby here! And when I come home she's so excited to see me, she gives me the biggest smiles, and I just love her to pieces!

and Qiana's Mommy is not too shabby to have around either!

Here's some super fun things Angie and I have done the last few months.

a major one was Easter

We got each other Easter Baskets, and well lets just say it was the best idea ever!

Angie is the biggest Twilight fan in the universe (psych) so naturally when I saw these Twilight candies I was like I gotta get her those, that's just too funny! I mean twilight themed conversation hearts, BRILLIANT! Then I scoped around a little more and saw that Hastings had a Jack Bauer action figure complete with a cell phone that gets reception anywhere and interchangeable hands just in case he needs to punch someone real bad! It was a must buy because until someone finds a Tupac doll for Angie's collection I think Biggie smalls is getting a little lonesome, (yes Angie has a Notorious BIG doll) Anyway, Walmart also made things easy by color coding their candy aisle, so Angie got all her favorite Easter treats in her favorite color Orange!

Please excuse my haggard appearance in these photos, we had play practice pretty late the night before and so I ended up sleeping in my make-up, and Angie woke me up the next morning and I didn't have any time to primp before pictures where taken, so excuse my bed hair, and crazy face!

But like Angie usually does, she totally topped me, because not only did she get me this amazing Easter dress! (It's even better ironed) but. . . . . .

She also got me a SNUGGIE!!!! Jealous? You should be, I mocked. . . Oh you best believe I mocked, but I am a Snuggie convert people! It is glorious and next to Angie's Easter Basket exchange, it's the 2nd best idea EVER!!!! Let me know if you wanna try it out, it will change your life!

We hit up the Tulip Festival again this year, and except for the crazy long line to get ice cream this time around everything was awesome as usual!

The Tulip Festival is a great place for Senior Portraits, all that's missing is my Letterman's jacket tossed over my shoulder!

Then just last week, Kyle Noyes aka Gaston from the play offered me free tickets to see Spamalot, so off to Spokane Angie and I went and once again had the best time, we saw that musical a few years ago, and so it was nice to see it again, and be reminded of how funny it was!

And just like every trip we take does we had ourselves a great meal, we hit up the Old Spaghetti factory and man was it delightful!

So, all in all I'm very happy to be where I am! There's is not much new in my life, but I'm doing fun things with people I love and care about, I'm working, I'm learning, and that's all I can ask for! So if you don't know, now you know!

OK so this blog has been a long time coming, it has now been a month since Beauty and the Beast wrapped up, and I'm just now getting it blogged about, how silly! Any who, sorry for the poor timing, but here are some pics I rounded up, I apologize that they are mostly of me, I realize how self-centered it looks, but I never said I was perfect!

A BIG thanks goes to the Mommala for not only finding and financing my finale dress, but helping me get ready every night and taking my dress home to iron it, washing my gloves, constructing me wig caps, she just did SO much that I can't even begin to tell you how grateful I am for her, she always takes care of me, I love you Mom!

I've been informed that my blog posts can on occasion be a bit wordy, and sometimes have too many pictures, so this is a . . . .

True story Madame De la Grande Bouche does not have very many scenes maybe one more then the Disney cartoon, but Toby was nice enough to insert me in even though I really had no place.

For example just before the big "Be Our Guest" number I had a scene with Belle where she decides to go against the masters wishes and leave her room, but Toby thought it would be funny if at the end of that scene I take advantage of the time and sing a little opera diddy since after all I am a Diva, so I started singing a little snippet of Carmen I learned from a different musical, then I decided it would be cooler If I actually learned it in French. Tami Lybbert volunteered her husband Dave to help me with the pronunciation (he served his mission in France) Once I finally started rehearsing with my actual wardrobe costume, Danny Law (The Beast) was kind enough to show me some moves he thought I should try, and the rest as they say is history! I believe it was a hit, I mean nobody came up to me and told me what an awful job I did, so, you know! This picture below is a shot of me singing my Aria.

Here's a shot of LaFou and I at the end of the mob scene when I dress him up as a woman for invading the castle (Yes Kevin Jackson I suggested it mainly because you commented about it)! David Anderson who played LaFou was so freakin' hilarious it was really tough for me to keep it together, because he would scream louder then I would sing, and then when he'd pretend like I was attacking him, it would make me laugh so hard (Milo Bushman you know why!)

You'll notice I put Lodge instead of Tavern, well here's the story. We are Mormons, we don't drink, so in our plays we don't drink, well mainly we didn't want a big ruckus from any of those Uber Mormons out there who may have had an issue with it meaning as it is an "appearance of evil" or whatever you would like to call it.

You'll notice in the backdrop their appears to be a very large mirror and a sign just adjacent to it! We borrowed this backdrop from a high school that had just recently done the production but that was not originally what appeared there. . . . .

Oh yeah, upon unraveling we where amazed to find this classy number! my favorite is the "Beware Loose Women" sign! This is funny, no?

Danny the Beast and Jessica Kincaid as Belle. . . . true story, this dress originally had sleeves, but Jessica removed them, and you wouldn't believe the difference, the lace sleeves made it look seriously little house on the prairie!

I wanna give a little shout out to her and her Mom, because on stage Rianne was 100% effort all the time, I was impressed with her commitment, and her Mother was the best backstage hand you could ever have, she was always right there with a safety pin, a band-aid or a drink of water, she was amazing! LOVE THEM!!!!!

Ok so this is my costume when it was a size 2 and had doors, those were removed when they realized they'd be a big hassle. . . . and they would have been, that costume was huge and I was knocking over small children as it was, I can't imagine the damage that would have been done had I had appendages like that to boot! David was kind enough to model it for me!

Toby Black was our Director, Darrin Vernon was our Assistant Director, then Valaree Roylance and Eric Knowles where our producers/stage director managers, pretty much every other behind the scenes position and they came up with the idea to give out an award each night for the best performer of the show that evening. They called it the T.E.V.D award which stood for Toby, Eric, ValaRee, and Darrin.


Belle thought it sounded more like a venereal disease, and I thought that was hilarious!

I promised myself I wouldn't do this!

So, people I would just like to state for the record that playing the Wardrobe in Beauty and the Beast was my most favorite of all time! I had a blast on stage every night, because my character was so much fun to play!

And might I also say I really loved everyone in the cast they where all so awesome to work with, and I miss them terribly!

I think most of us where worried that the show wouldn't be as good as Joseph was last year, but in my opinion it was, and I hope all of you who got a chance to see it thought so too!

Here's to next year!

So remember that one time when I was all jazzed about getting to work at the radio station well pretty much since the beginning of October I haven't been because they haven't had anything for me to do. I got to read the news on the AM station for approximetly a week and then nothing,




Now I got a lot of good feedback from people that heard me, so I'm assuming it didn't have anything to do with me just completly sucking, although I'm not ruling it out, but all I was told was there isn't anything for me to do, so just today I emailed them again and asked if this summer I could do another internship and now i'm waiting to hear back.
I'm not interested in getting paid, I just want to learn, and while I'm here in Moses Lake KDRM is my only hope.




The good news though is that a month ago I got a job at the Boys and Girls club in downtown Moses Lake and they have put me in charge of the Art room.




Now you would think that this would be a dream job for me right. . . .well let me just say while it is fun to think and plan craft projects it's quite another to execute them with 20-30 kids running around shoving eachother and tattle-telling and constantly asking. . .what are we doing? I don't know how to do this? and yada yada yada!

So it's been hard and between this new job the play a couple weeks ago and school I've been crazy busy and didn't have much time to think, let alone blog.

By the way I originally had pictures posted of the kids, but i just found out that's a big no no, so I deleted them!

Anywho, the job is harder then I thought it would be, but it's turning out to be a good thing, and you know how kids are, they drive you crazy one minute and then they do something cute and you forget all about it. . . so it is with the Boys and Girls Club!

Ok so I've been thinking about it lately and I really think I should be on a reality show sometime in my life, with the genre being as huge as it is, and the endless options, it really should be something I do. . . .right? so I've made up this little list, here goes. . . . .



Top 5 Reality Shows I'd like to be on!


1. Say Yes to the Dress-

Have you seen this show? It is one of my favorites on TLC! Say Yes To the Dress is all about Brides finding their perfect gown for their big day at this amazing store called Klienfeld in Manhattan. Consultants collect various gowns from the stores amazing collection and cater to the bride to be's every whim until the customer gets that glow or her eyes fill with tears and she knows she has found "The One". When ever I get married, if I have a few grand to blow on the dress of my dreams, I will move heaven and earth to have someone from Klienfield help me find the perfect wedding gown!

2. MTV's Made -

True story. . . .the first MADE ever was filmed right here in Moses Lake about 7 yrs ago. This kid named Isaac Jones wanted to be a Bull Rider so MTV hooked him up with a coach and taught him the ropes. I saw him last year at the Rodeo I'm not sure if he competed, but anyway enough about him. I've mentioned before how much I want to learn how to drop some beats on the ones and twos and learn how to scratch, but I don't think there is anyone in Moses Lake or close by even that knows how to do that. I think MTV is my only option for learning how to become DJ EmKDubb! And even though they've already filmed here, it still would be interesting to teach this 25 old white girl from Farmtown USA how to kick it to you urban style via the turntables. . . . am I wrong?

3. Big Brother-

Last year I discussed with Angie how much I think i'd really like to be on this show. Last year was the first season I watched it, and although strategy is not my strongest suit, I think I might be able to charm people into keeping me around long enough to make an impression, and maybe win a fan favorite award or something! That would be my game plan anyway.

4. Real World -

I've watched this show since they first started in New York, and I always wanted to be on it until Las Vegas happened and I realized I might not be trashy enough to make what MTV apparently thought was good television. Now after the Brooklyn cast just wrapped up their season, I've decided it is back on my list of possibilities. . . . not to mention maybe I could make the rest of my living winning prizes and money on all those duals and challenges they invite you to be on after you've appeared on one of their shows. . . . just a thought!

5. Little Miss Perfect-

This last option is a little different from the rest, I don't actually want to be on this show, nor would I like to put one of my own children into one of these pageants, but Angie and I have been watching "Little Miss Perfect" quite a lot and I'm pretty sure Angie and I have what it takes to run our own pageant and coach little girls on how to have stage presence. From the looks of it, it doesn't look to difficult. I mean I can sing cheesy songs and give pointers on how to smile just as well as this guy. . . . .



Michael Galanas who is the Director and I think creator of the "Little Miss Perfect" pageant and well I can't really describe him, you'll have to see for yourself and form your own judgements.

I am a fan of Twilight, I read all the books, waited in line at midnight to see the movie, and all that stuff, but I don't consider myself a crazy obsessed fan, I didn't put a countdown on my blog, I don't own any Twilight Merchandise, and I don't want to marry a vampire as a result of reading those stories, I am just not that obsessed.


I tell what I am obsessed with, and that's the book Angels and Demons by Dan Brown.

You may remember him as the Author of The Da Vinci Code, but Angels and Demons is the pre-qual to that book and the first adventure Robert Langdon embarks on. I love this book so much i've read it twice, and i'm contemplating reading it again!

I highly recommend it! For some reason the story line just gripped me and I bet it will grip you as well, the mixture of science and religion, and the fact that it incorpporates actual historical facts is pretty fascinating too. Then the crazy twist at the end! Once Robert gets into Rome the story starts rolling, and you can not put the book down.

There is more good news for you none readers out there, the movie Angels and Demons comes out May 15th 2009! Does that make your heart skip a beat or what!

I have included the official movie trailer to pump you all up like me, and if Blogger would update it's countdown widget, then i'd also have a countdown! But Oh well can't win them all!

Hello Friends!

I'm very sorry for my sabbatical from the blogging world, but finals week and spring break where CRAZY!!! I promise to be back on top next week, because I've got some blog topics I'm psyched out of my mind about, but first. . . is anyone having a rough time viewing my blog?
